Sun Spots? No Thanks
Pigmented lesions from chrono and photo-aging are cutaneous spots that appear with advancing age, particularly in body regions most exposed to solar radiation. Other skin spots have different origins and may be present at birth or appear following pregnancies.
The Q-Switched laser can generate laser emissions with very short pulses that selectively target skin spots.
Objective?
Selective removal of spots in short time periods
Who is it for?
For all patients presenting with skin spots identified as benign cutaneous lesions by the physician. The type of spot must be treatable with Q-Switched laser, such as:
- - Solar and senile lentigines
- Post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation
- Epidermal melasma
- Pigmented seborrheic keratoses
- Epidermal nevi
The treatment requires a preliminary medical evaluation to determine patient eligibility and the most appropriate therapeutic protocol. The procedure is outpatient-based and generally requires multiple sessions spaced 3-4 weeks apart.
