5 Key Points for Skin Health and Wellness

Autumn inevitably brings signs of prolonged sun exposure and high temperatures from previous months, resulting in often uneven reduction of facial pigmentation with skin appearing dull and dehydrated.

Prevention and proper attention to photo/chrono-aging therefore lies in our ability to intervene timely through 5 key points of wellness that I consistently communicate to my patients:

Cleansing, Hydration, and Stimulation

When meeting a patient for the first time, I emphasize that healthy skin is primarily clean and hydrated skin; daily home care routines are the foundation for maintaining proper hydration balance. However, these often prove insufficient and should be complemented with periodic professional deep cleansing treatments using professional equipment that removes impurities and enables enhanced absorption of active concentrates and hyaluronic acid administered during treatment.

Hyaluronic acid itself is a source of significant hydration and stimulation, two fundamental elements in combating tissue aging. This product, injected according to individual protocols, improves skin elasticity, providing luminosity and firmness to prevent sagging and hypotonia.

Tone and Regeneration

With advancing age, there is a progressive inversion of tissue layer thickness and tone, resulting in altered facial oval shape with disruption of normal mandibular contouring lines and malar prominences. Before this occurs, intervention is possible through deep dermal restructuring and, where necessary, volume restoration using products designed to reconstruct deficient regions.

Sometimes the defect perceived by the patient may reflect an intrinsic skeletal deficit, and in such cases, the clinical consultation becomes crucial as the optimal result isn't merely wrinkle elimination but achieving anatomical balance, avoiding distortions and unnatural appearances that negatively draw attention.

Intervention should not be delayed; consistency is key in slowing aging to postpone more invasive procedures. In addition to traditional fillers, processed and injected adipose tissue assists in this goal, utilizing its capabilities not only for volumetric enhancement but also its regenerative potential, which has become integral in managing and preventing aging processes, finding its niche in facial aesthetics.

My Perspective

Each patient is unique in terms of age, habits, and anatomical characteristics. I emphasize that my core principle remains maintaining a natural look, embracing the ideal of wellness alongside enhancement of personal aesthetics.

"It's not necessary to change when you like yourself, but this shouldn't lead to a passive approach toward passing time."
