Image The Urban Medi Spa Supports Theodora Onlus Foundation

The picnics that bring dreams and smiles to hospitalized children return this year. On May 6th, the first of three charitable events organized by Theodora will take place. Image The Urban Medi Spa, as every year, offers its contribution to support children who are confined to long hospital stays. Theodora picnics originated in 2011 from an idea by Giovanna Ferrero Ventimiglia and Lucrezia Borromeo Arese.

What is the Theodora picnic?

An outdoor event, a picnic organized in unique locations, featuring creative workshops, performances, tournaments, and games where adults and children engage with families and friends to spend a special day filled with activities, entertainment, and smiles. It is a unique fundraising event dedicated to all friends and supporters of Theodora Onlus Foundation, which since 1995, through the activities of its Dream Doctors, provides moments of attention, play, and joy to many children and their families who must endure long and difficult hospital stays.

Theodora's Mission

The "Theodora Picnic" is a unique event that, thanks to participating friends and supporters, significantly contributes to ensuring the special visits of Theodora's Dream Doctors to more than 35,000 hospitalized children annually, caring for their "healthy part," to help them and their families better cope with illness and hospitalization, because truly "smiling makes them more serene and dreaming makes them stronger" - explains Emanuela Basso Petrino, General Director of Theodora Onlus Foundation.

How to Make a Donation and Support Theodora

Donations can be made through the official website of Theodora Onlus Foundation or during fundraising events. Each contribution helps ensure the continuity of Dream Doctors' hospital visits and brings moments of joy to hospitalized children.
