About the Treatment

Laser Fraxel Dual

Laser Fraxel Dual uses two different wavelengths (1550 nm and 1927 nm) to treat both superficial and deep skin conditions. This technology creates micro thermal treatment zones (MTZ) capable of:

  • Eliminating damaged pigmented cells: acting on sun spots, melasma, and other hyperpigmentation.
  • Stimulating new collagen production: improving skin elasticity and firmness.
  • Promoting tissue regeneration: reducing acne scars, wrinkles, and stretch marks.
  • This fractional approach leaves surrounding tissues intact, allowing for faster healing and minimizing recovery time.

    Treatment indications

  • Wrinkles and fine lines: diminishes signs of skin aging.
  • Acne and surgical scars: improves the appearance of scars, making them less visible.
  • Skin spots: effectively treats sun spots and seborrheic keratosis.
  • Stretch marks: reduces both red and white stretch marks.
  • Treatment with Laser Fraxel Dual lasts approximately 30 minutes per session, plus 40 minutes for the application of anesthetic cream. The recommended number of sessions varies between 2 and 6, with an interval of 20-40 days between sessions, depending on the indication being treated. Pain is minimal, thanks to the use of topical anesthetics, making the experience comfortable for the patient. After treatment, mild redness may appear, similar to a sunburn, which tends to disappear spontaneously within a few days. However, it is possible to apply makeup and resume normal activities immediately after the session, without particular limitations.

To optimize results and promote proper healing, it is essential to follow some post-treatment precautions. It is indispensable to apply a high-protection sunscreen (SPF 50+) for at least two weeks, thus protecting the skin from UV rays and avoiding the risk of hyperpigmentation. Additionally, it is recommended to keep the skin well hydrated, to support the skin regeneration process and accelerate tissue repair. In the days immediately following the session, it is preferable to avoid direct sun exposure, in order to best preserve the benefits of the treatment and reduce potential skin sensitization.

Following these indications, the skin will appear more luminous, uniform, and rejuvenated.
