Regenerative Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is among the most requested cosmetic surgery procedures worldwide, allowing patients to surgically achieve their dream breasts. Image Regenerative Clinic's primary objective is to achieve natural results through the most modern surgical techniques and the use of latest-generation breast implants. The procedure improves breast size and shape with a personalized approach based on each patient's unique anatomy and aesthetic goals, offering various options for implant type, size, and placement. The reasons for choosing this procedure are numerous: dissatisfaction with physical constitution, desire for a new aesthetic dimension, need for intervention after pregnancy, breastfeeding, or excessive weight loss that has left breasts depleted but not sagging. Breast augmentation can give breasts a second youth, resolve social integration or self-esteem issues, offering new frontiers for personal confidence. Recovery is generally quick, with most patients returning to normal activities within 1-2 weeks.

Prof. Carlo
"Placing the implant beneath the pectoral muscle is crucial for achieving a natural long-term result. In my opinion, stem cell lipofilling is currently advisable only for touch-ups or to improve capsular contracture. Sagging breasts cannot be resolved with an implant alone but require a mastopexy procedure first."

About the Treatment

The Procedure

Breast augmentation is one of the most requested cosmetic surgery procedures worldwide. It surgically increases breast volume to achieve the desired shape. Image Regenerative Clinic's primary objective is achieving natural results through modern surgical techniques and latest-generation breast implants. Reasons for choosing this procedure are varied: dissatisfaction with natural breast size, desire to improve body proportions, post-pregnancy and breastfeeding needs, or restoring volume lost after significant weight loss.

Planning and Technology

During consultation, the medical team led by Professor Carlo Tremolada carefully evaluates individual anatomy and aesthetic goals. Detailed planning includes 3D imaging to visualize potential results. Modern breast implants are available in anatomical teardrop and round shapes, with smooth or textured surfaces. Silicone, the most natural-feeling and safest option, is available in a special cohesive gel enclosed in a solid shell, ensuring maximum safety even in case of rupture.

Surgical Technique and Placement

Implants can be placed under the gland, muscle fascia, or pectoral muscle. Surgical access points include periareolar, transareolar, inframammary, and axillary. The frequently used Dual Plane technique involves covering implants with the pectoral muscle above and mammary gland below.

Lipogems® Innovation

The Lipogems® protocol represents a significant evolution, particularly effective in mixed technique combining implants and adipose tissue. This approach ensures naturalness and versatility, especially in complex cases like tuberous breasts and significant asymmetries. It's particularly recommended for patients over 40, improving breast texture, stretch marks, and tone.

Recovery and Results

Hospitalization is brief and patients return home the same day without drains. Sports activities can resume after approximately three weeks. Aesthetic effects are visible immediately, but final results are appreciated after three weeks. A supportive elastic band helps settlement and preserves shape. Scars, individual variables, depend on factors like genetic predisposition, skin elasticity, and age.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should be done in case of breast asymmetry after augmentation?

In most cases, asymmetries are temporary and disappear after complete settlement. If they persist, revision surgery is possible after complete healing, without discomfort for the patient.

What activities should be avoided after breast augmentation?

In the first few days after breast augmentation, physical exertion should generally be avoided. After a couple of weeks, mild physical activity (stationary bike and stepper/elliptical) can be resumed, but exercises involving arms and chest should be avoided until complete settlement. Treadmill or running are also not recommended due to stress on the body. In general, follow your doctor's prescriptions.

What type of bra should I wear after breast augmentation?

It's recommended to wear a supportive, wire-free bra, preferably with a front closure, for the initial recovery period as prescribed by your surgeon.

Are the results of breast augmentation immediately visible?

The aesthetic effect is visible from day one, but the final result can be fully appreciated after about three weeks when swelling subsides.

How long is the recovery period after breast augmentation?

A short rest period is recommended, usually a few days. Light physical activity can be resumed after about two weeks, while full sports activities after about three weeks.
