Spider Veins and Varicose Veins

Sclerotherapy is, without doubt, the most used technique to eliminate the annoying problem of dilated capillaries varying in color from bright red to dark blue/green which, although connected to the venous system, do not perform any essential functional role. This method uses substances that induce an irritating reaction of the vascular wall, causing a subsequent inflammatory reaction and thus occluding the treated vessel. This way, blood flow is interrupted, the vessel empties and progressively lightens and becomes invisible.

About

What Is It?

Telangiectasias, also known as visible capillaries, are dilations of superficial blood vessels that appear on the skin as thin red, blue, or purplish lines. These skin imperfections can manifest in different areas of the body but are more frequent on the face (cheeks, nose, chin) and legs. Although they don't represent a health risk, telangiectasias can be an aesthetic concern for many people, leading them to seek solutions to eliminate them.

How To Treat It

There are several advanced aesthetic treatments to eliminate telangiectasias and improve skin appearance: Vascular laser – The most effective treatment for removing broken capillaries on face and legs, thanks to light that coagulates and closes the blood vessel. Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) – Particularly indicated for facial telangiectasias, also improves skin tone and quality. Regenerative Phlebotherapy (TRAP) – An innovative treatment that stimulates vascular regeneration improving circulation and progressively reducing visible capillaries through targeted microinjections.
