Treatment indications
Treatment with Laser Fraxel Dual lasts approximately 30 minutes per session, plus 40 minutes for the application of anesthetic cream. Pain is minimal, thanks to the use of topical anesthetics, making the experience comfortable for the patient. After treatment, mild redness may appear, similar to a sunburn, which tends to disappear spontaneously within a few days. However, it is possible to apply makeup and resume normal activities immediately after the session, without particular limitations.
To optimize results and promote proper healing, it is essential to follow some post-treatment precautions. It is indispensable to apply a high-protection sunscreen (SPF 50+) for at least two weeks, thus protecting the skin from UV rays and avoiding the risk of hyperpigmentation. Additionally, it is recommended to keep the skin well hydrated, to support the skin regeneration process and accelerate tissue repair. In the days immediately following the session, it is preferable to avoid direct sun exposure, in order to best preserve the benefits of the treatment and reduce potential skin sensitization.
